Ski, Board & Skin-A-Thon

Date: Sunday February 25th | Skinners 12 - 2 pm, Skiers & Boarders 3 - 4 pm

Join us for the 2024 Ski, Board and Skin a thon! The skier, snowboarder or skinner who can make the most runs within the timeframe is the winner of their event!

Skinners:  New this Year!!  The event will start at 12 pm and end at 2 pm.  Skin up Wilderness Trail and ski down the main hill.  Are you up for the challenge?  Earn bragging rights of being the last man/woman/child or beast standing! Each participant will be given a number bib to wear, and there will be a volunteer keeping track of each participant’s laps.

Skiers and Boarders:  The event will start at 3 pm and end at 4 pm.  The course this year will be on the rope tow. Conquer the Rope Tow!  Will your arms give out before your legs?   Each participant will be given a number bib to wear, and there will be a volunteer keeping track of each participant’s laps.

Participants can sign up with our form online - https://forms.gle/Sa74uvfxoJ5HZPCc8 or at Veterans Memorial Recreation Area. We will email you a pledge sheet if you sign up online so you can start collecting pledges per run, or a flat donation. Please bring your pledge sheet to the event, and any money you can collect prior to the event as well. All of the proceeds will be donated to the Franklin Outing Club and go toward our $27,000 capital campaign.
